HOT TUB: Even though this is a new hot tub things can happen that are out of our control. The hot tub needs to be in SE/ST mode. If guests hit more than one button at a time it can offset the mode easily and the hot tub will become cold. Guests who are there longer than 1 night will not be compensated for any mistakes if they offset the hot tub mode. If a situation occurs (broken part) that is out of our control there will be no compensation-however we will notify any guests asap. There is no swimming in the water. The Lake is a smaller lake. There are no motor boats. You may see a kayak from time to time. The lake can go through rare periods of drought and or algae blooms so please be aware these are things out of our control. During fall more leaves will be on the ground, more than normal. We do charge a cleaning fee but if the grounds (inside or out) require more cleaning than the average guest the cleaner will charge more and you’ll be asked for an extra cleaning fee. No parties. Do not put oils/lotions/soaps/bubbles in the hot tub! If we have to get it professionally cleaned due to foreign materials it’s $200. Also we do have a cleaning fee but if there is big trash left that has to be hauled off or extra cleaning services due to messier than usual guests I will ask for the difference in payment that the cleaner will charge me. During warm weather there are mosquitoes outside! We do provide off spray. Fireplace:it’s not listed as an amenity bc people kept shutting off the gas to it and it was a headache. If you know how to light a pilot light you’re welcome to use it. Please leave the trash can at the curb, trash is Wednesdays. Our cleaning crew can take trash to the curb. We provide 1 towel per person but we do provide a washer and dryer to use for that reason. We do that so our cleaning crew doesn’t have 3 loads of towels and can have an efficient turnover time. There are always 6 towels so If you have a smaller party you’ll have more than 1.
