Forest Park enacted a tax for short term rentals this year, you will see a resort fee which reflects that cost. This is not something we wanted to do but we have to.* We have a king bed, queen bed, and a pull out sofa that is a queen size. We will not have the purple futon anymore that you see in our professional pictures bc it was damaged but that is where the pull out sofa will reside-if we know ahead of time if there will be 5-6 guests total the sofa bed will be made. IF you have 4 guests and need the pull out bed so no beds are shared please tell me ahead of time so we can make that bed too. If you last min book sofa bed will not be made but sheets and blankets will be available upon request. Because we are nestled on almost 1 acre and guests love to go in and out between the pool and the outside, we do our best to keep pests/flies from entering the home. The home is professionally sprayed every quarter however if guests leave doors open for long periods of time and being on land some things are out of our control with nature. There will not be any refunds due to a bug or a turkey finding its way inside. Yes we have a family of turkeys that roam the neighborhood. :) Late checkouts: We can only allow this in the fall and spring but that will be rare. Latest possible checkout during the fall/winter/spring is noon with an extra $35 fee if allowed. We plan and arrange our days around cleaning so when asked we have to also rearrange our schedules to try and accommodate, no refunds on this because of that if guests change their mind at last minute. If you don’t leave by check out time in the summer or during pool season I will charge you a late fee of $50 and cleaning has to start by 1030 am as all cleaners have other jobs too. If you do not leave by 11 am you’ll be charged another day if during pool season! pool season guests, we know that from time to time guests during summer want others to come over to pool it with- up to 10 people total (including the ones staying over) and will be an extra $50 fee. Will be paid prior to check in. Extra guests have to leave by 9pm. Only 6 can sleep over. You must let us know prior to check in of any extra guests. Because we get asked often…Small events up to 15 people will now be permitted with a $125 event fee (applied with at least a 1 night stay) that has to be paid prior to check in. Events are baby showers, b days, bachelorette, etc. extra Guests cannot spend the night, only 6 people to stay over. Guests! It's important to be honest in how many guests are expected, cleaners leave what is necessary for expected guests. Example: number of towels or appropriate number of Tp rolls. none pool season guests-we do allow some extra guests during the day time, anybody over 6 guests will be a flat $35 fee and a max of 8 people. We do have an indoor fireplace but bc it’s wood burning and some are allergic or sensitive to smoke elements left over after we don’t want guests to use it. The yard is cut every two weeks in the spring and early summer and once a week in July and August but we never know when the yard guys will show up. If they arrive during your stay they should only be there at most 30 min. They usually come in the morning or evening. Pool! It's seasonal, as long as it's warm enough it will be open. Pool will be closed/not maintained after OCT 15 2025. The pool is retro built in the 60s, it gets deep! Not super kid friendly. Does have a shallow end where there are stairs. If you have kids that can not swim DO NOT BOOK here. There is pool cleaning twice a week, if there is a longer stay please expect the pool to be cleaned during your stay, I usually will clean around 9am and be done by 10am. I will always give advanced notice. Hot tub! No sunscreens, oils, bubbles! If you vacate and it’s filthy you will be charged for a clean out of $100 and any accommodation cost that has to be paid to the next guest if it’s booked the day of your checkout if they can’t use it. We take pics prior to every rsvp. Grill-we do supply the grill but not propane. There will be an automatic $50 charge for stained sheets or comforter. Showering with coffee grains or body scrubs in the pink bathroom is not allowed and if you do there will an additional $100 fee. It takes a lot of time scrubbing out the remnants as it gets stuck in the grout! Not okay and is extremely rude to do which is why I'm putting $100 on it! RV/trailer parking-because if our curved drive it is not suitable for RVs or Trailers. Too risky. We love our furry friends, please note the yard is not fully fenced and pets will need to be leashed going outside. Thank you for your understanding! lol
